One Shot is the ninth book in the Jack Reacher series written by Lee Child. The book title is based on "One shot, one kill," the military sniper's creed. The novel was adapted into the 2012 film Jack Reacher, starring Tom Cruise as the title character.

DescriptionEdit

Somewhere in Indiana, six sniper shots ring out in the afternoon calm. Evidence everywhere, the sniper is caught easily. “Get Jack Reacher for me.” is all he’ll say during interrogation. “Who’s Reacher?” wonder the police. They find out soon enough because Reacher’s already on his way for reasons of his own. Basis for the 2012 movie Jack Reacher.
